Apparently this is Driver's third time hosting but one of his times must have completely left my memory, I could have sworn it was his second

 

He hosted after the first Star Wars came out, and then that one ep in 2018 where Ariana Grande was supposed to perform but she dropped out so Kanye took her place

 

yea last time was the season premier last season

 

Never heard of JJ Watt

 

Am I missing something? He plays for the Texans who aren’t in the super bowl...lol

J.J. does a ton of great shit for his community but he annoys the fuck outta me.

Not really excited about either of those announcements tbh

 

Not usually a fan of when athletes host, the results are almost always mixed. That said, I remember JJ being funny when he was on a The League so maybe it will be ok.

 

I’m excited for Ru for the moment and the looks, but his humor won’t translate.

Idk, he does seem to have a pretty charismatic personality and is a relatively well known athlete with lots of commercials and etc. I guess we're used to it being the QBs that do it but I think he could be pretty good (well, good relative to the awful stuff we know the writers are gonna put together)
