Honestly thought this was the best of the season so far. Grouch is definitely the best pre-tape I've seen in a bit. Definitely need a gif of Bowen reacting.

Watching the new episode of Superstore, and Heidi's in it!!!

 

I always love it when they use dogs in sketches

 

This was pretty good. Not as good as last week but hopefully they can keep at least at this level.

 

Heidi as Bailey saying “The Joker director was right! Comedy is too woke!” made me literally snort

That was a good one.

 

"For the Britney Spears episode that aired on May 13, 2000, he wrote a sketch in which Will Ferrell was to be the bodyguard to her bellybutton, which, at the time, was often exposed. At the table read with the cast, the entire room fell absolutely silent while reading it. Zero laughs. “I remember it was so silent, I remember hearing the A.C. as it shut down in the middle of the sketch.” He was sitting next to Fey, who was the head writer at the time, and he distinctly remembers how she patted his shoulder after that. “It didn’t feel sarcastic. It could’ve been but in my mind, it was her going ‘it’s okay’.”

 

And honestly his hosting gigs are now responsible for some of the best sketches from the last decade haha

 

Picturing Will Ferrell as “Britney Spears’ belly button bodyguard” made me laugh at least, Zach

 

YEah I feel like that would have worked great back then lol

 

I have mixed feelings on him. I liked the hangover, hated the other hangovers, and find between 2 ferns kinda funny - cringeworthy, maybe... You never know what hes going to say on the show. Interesting character, for sure.

 

“Baskets” is his best work by a country mile. Show is great.

Yeah he was my favorite. Saw him at Irving Plaza in NY I think the year before Hangover came out. Miss his standup but I'm happy for his success
