I don't have a good feeling about this episode

 

Hey Charles, don’t quit your day job (whatever that is)

 

Homework Hotline grew on me by the end

 

Missed part of Grabbies but I liked what I saw

 

Gotta give Barkley props for not breaking at the end of that Homework Hotline sketch.

Also I feel like Barkley would've been a great candidate for another one of those sketches where Kate McKinnon describes her horrible experiences with paranormal entities while the host and Cecily Strong have good ones.

 

Ugh I like Migos and especially that song but that was bad

 

Hopefully the second song is gang gang

 

Hope Hicks and Kyle Mooney bits were great

 

Cecily Strong looks a lot like Hope Hicks and I never realized it until right before she popped on screen and I thought to myself "it has to be Cecily Strong playing her- omg she looks just like her."

 

Looks like it's going to be another "Update was good, the rest was forgettable" week

I did like the absurdity of that "Good Roaches with Guns" sketch, though.

 

Barkley's bad acting actually made Hump or Dump funnier imo

 

I'm mostly of the mind that we've seen Barkley on SNL before, it is what it is. I knew what we were getting into as soon as they announced he'd be back. I just hoped that they would at least realize they had to step the righting up around him to make it better. They didn't.

I'm really digging Migos' BDSM pants, ngl

 

Definitely a better performance than Stir Fry, still mixed horribly though. I fucking love Offset's verse on that song

 

Holy shit I predicted they were gonna do this one

Worst ep of the season for me. Liked maybe two sketches

 

I feel like this was the rare episode that actually became better after Weekend Update

Still probably the worst of the season though

 

bar sketch never disappoints

 

Why in the world would they have cut this? Not only must it have been pretty expensive to put together (by SNL standards), it was actually pretty funny, had a JJ Abrams appearance, and Barkley was good in it. So weird.
