It's been months since they postponed and now with Saosin making their rounds I'm afraid we won't get to hear it officialy anytime soon. And there's a whole batch of vinyl sold out; some people have it physically
I wasn’t really digging the singles for Attention Deficit much anyways. New Nostalgia is great though!
i was kinda dismissive of new nostalgia when it came out but its moments are pretty strong. anything different and reina's song are really spectacular
This is so good, with the pre-chorus being my favorite parts (that lead guitar!). Scary how 2006 it sounds, they really nailed the S/T template. No notes.
Makes sense considering their melody writing styles are so different. Makes me wonder what Cove would've done over "Control and the Urge to Pray" and "Ideology is Theft", which were the most S/T sounding songs on Along The Shadow.
Love the aggressiveness and how much this is reminiscent of S/T. Legitimately better than I had initially hope for or expected given the hype. Can't wait. Will pre-order as soon as it's an option.
Very excited for this. I've always wondered if they can capture the feeling of S/T without Howard. Looking forward to seeing what they have been cooking.
This reel on FB showed up and people are arguing about how to pronounce the band name in the comments so it’s 2003 again baby! https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18ch7hUJ58/?mibextid=wwXIfr
The intro to this new song is really fucking good. Track is popping up on Spotify mixes and I keep catching myself grinning like an idiot whenever it does.
Swap the last two songs and that's a damn near perfect set for me. Skipping around, Cove's sounding pretty solid, and it's wild how effortless the musicians make it look.
I was surprised that they are down to only 2 songs off TTN now in the set. But also You're Not Alone has 20million more streams than Seven Years so makes sense why they close with it.
thats like knowing you can leave a sporting event early to miss the traffic after you know your team already won or lost
Bringing back "On My Own" is damn cool, when's the last time they had even played a song from that album live? Cove sounds great on "The Silver String" as well.
i didnt even really think about it but there are a handful of along the shadow songs that i think cove would sound great on live, namely racing toward a red light and second guesses
throwing isosg on for the first time in a while, feel like this album is at its best when it goes for the slower more atmospheric thing like on alarming sound and the closing duo. mostly not into the rockier songs but those tracks are pretty cool. the outro at the end of say goodbye is also dope not too much else has aged well for me about it though. cove sounds terrible on a lot of those tracks haha
