Saosin Working on Album With Cove

Fantastic news and very happy for Cove! He kinda hinted at this being a possibility when I last chatted with him about the Dead American album: Cove Reber of Dead American

 

Absolutely here for it. love both eras of Saosin, with Anthony and with Cove. They should do a song with both..

Have they started singing each other's songs live yet? I remember when Anthony first rejoined they would skip anything that was on their two albums (at the time).

Probably very busy touring on his solo material and touring and recording the new album with LS Dunes

 

It's also been teased on some IG accounts but they are also rerecording the S/T album

 

Excited for this, but what a wild and interesting path that this band has been on. Really happy they've stuck with it and still touring and creating new music whether it's with Anthony or Cove.

 

I like the Further Seems Forever-esque rotations of vocalists. I’ve found something to enjoy about every era of the band and am looking forward to another Cove record.

Just do a record with Philip Sneed and they’d be full on FSF with three vocalists.

 

Jamie’s elsewhere are the metalcore version of FSF. 3 full lengths with 3 different vocals and then a previous vocalist came back for new music last year \m/

I feel for bands that can’t keep a vocalist down, but it’s also cool to switch it up

Best news of 2024! Self-titled was a hugely influential album growing up, and one I still listen to all the time.

 

It's actually the rerecording of the S/T album. Beau has also been working on it during his streams and mentioned once it's done he has a few other things to do and then after that then they will start on the new album

 

I’m 100% down with a re-recording of the self titled because now I’ll have a chance to get it on vinyl
