Saosin reveal in a new video interview that they’re going to release a new album (with Cove as the singer) soon.

Saosin (with vocalist Cove Reber and guitarist Beau Burchell) announced that they are no longer "member fluid" — the current lineup is now permanent ("Saosin 4.0 forever").

    Key highlights:
    • They are halfway through recording a new full-length album, expected in 2026.
    • The new record is described as "self-titled in 2026" — heavily inspired by their iconic 2006 self-titled album, with massive riffs, concise songwriting, and a familiar Saosin sound but with some fresh twists.
    • They’re self-producing, obsessing over every detail, and going very hard on guitars.
    • Possible collaborations are being considered (nothing confirmed), but the focus is on a strong standalone album first. Ideas floated include Landon Tewers (The Plot In You) or even Will Ramos (Lorena Shores) for something unexpected.

This new album has taken longer than Along The Shadow did after In Search of. I'm starving for new Saosin.

Stoked to have Cove back since he's been doing great live.

I hope Beau let Phil go wild on this. I can't wait to hear the riffs they came up with.

As someone who loves both A Green, and Cove, I always thought Cove was the person meant for this band.
I always related it to the Howard/Jesse thing is KsE. Yeah Jesse is the original singer, but Howard is the prophecy.

I have made this exact case before except with Josh Scogin. He was meant for the Chariot and Cory was meant for Norma Jean even though Bless The Martyr is held up so high.

Translating The Name will always hold a place in the scene but Self-Titled was the best version of Saosin, and Anthony was always meant for Circa.

I always feel bad for this guy. He put out a classic album (eclipsing Anthony damn Green commercially) and then caught so much shit for not being able to sing live

I mean when it's due to his smoking habits it's kinda his fault lol

I’ve always said Josh is so much better in The Chariot. And Norma Jean is so much better with Cory.

He was also 20-21 when it was recorded and still a teenager when he joined with no tour experience. Even when his vocal quality declined he was in his early 20s. Old enough people say, but I know I made self defeating choices at that age. As did Anthony for sure.

Might be a minority opinion, but it is wiiiiiild to me how far this band was able to milk one fantastic EP and one pretty good album for as long as they have.

Always thought this about the EP. I think it's more of a testament to their songwriting than it is quantity of their content.

If you ask me, In Search is a great album that didn't get the love it deserved, but the last album will be tough to top for me. I think it's their best release. I'm still very excited to hear what comes next, especially with Cove back in the mix.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around this. I respect your opinion, but Self Titled has a pretty timeless sound to it given it came out of an era where the vast majority of everything released around that time is sonically dated. The production on that record is second to none. The EP is very difficult to listen to in 2025.

    this is all there is

Prefacing this with I don't know any of them, and don't follow any of them on socials, so I could be completely wrong, but:

They play shows here and there and sell merch, but I'm almost certain none of them are making a living from Saosin, and they really aren't active enough at all to call it anything close to milking. It would not surprise me at all if keeping the band going at this point is really complicating other parts of their lives.

Looking forward to checking out the new music.

The production for their self titled is tops, absolutely! It still sounds incredible. To me the rough edges around the EP give it character. Similar to how I feel about Chiodos's "All's Well...".

Their second album, while very different, is a solid alt rock/kinda sorta post hardcore album.
From what I remember most of the post hardcore songs were the b-sides.

I went through a breakup when In Search of Solid Ground came out- helped me through a tough time! It hit me hard then and still does when I listen back- excited for the new Cove record!!
