One of the best EP’s ever! Cool to see they’re gonna tour on it for its 20th anniversary. Where has the time gone? Interesting support in Astronoid. I dig that band but not who I thought would be playing with Saosin!

Nice. Anthony Green is a busy dude also doing L.S. Dunes shows around the same time.

Looking back on the records that most influenced my musical taste, this EP has got to be top 3, if not straight up #1. All time banger.

i would love to see this tour! last time i saw saosin was on that comeback taste of chaos tour they did in like 2017, it was stacked! TBS, dashboard, TEN, & saosin! wish that tour kept going on, that line up was so good :ok:

Would be such a baller move for them to play the EP then walk off lmao.

Jokes aside, what I wouldn't give for an Austin date.

I remember listening to this on PureVolume when it first came out back in the day. I still f'n love these OG Saosin songs. Maybe one of the most influential EPs of all time?

Translating the Name is definitely what influenced me early on and opened up a whole new world of music to me. Forever will be grateful.

Probably annoying yet still I have to ask the question whenever AG is involved...any updates on Circa? Amazing all that he is doing, but seems like there was a lot left unanswered when Circa went on hiatus and/or broke up?

From what I gathered/remember they're essentially on a hiatus until doing the band becomes feasible again. Seems like there were a few underlying problems that needed to get sorted. I say good on them for taking a break instead of pushing things. And it seems like Anthony has had no problem keeping busy.

I haven't heard anything but he likely has too much going on with other projects at the moment.

My running playlist has > 1000 songs and it’s almost impossible for me to go for a run without hearing a song from either this or S/T. It’s really weird.

Let's call it as it is... Every show they have played since AG return has had all 5 songs from Translating the Name. I know the EP sells well, it is getting a second vinyl pressing now after big success with the first pressing. I am interested in the followup to Along the Shadow and what comes next.

    this is all there is

Looking back over setlist.fm, it's kinda depressing to me that they don't play anything from S/T anymore.

I get that they aren't Anthony's songs, but some of them (Sleepers, Bury Your Head, I Never Wanted To) are just so good and I'd love to see them live.

  22. Would love a Philly date—annoying the proximity of Bamboozle!
