They’ve confirmed another pressing expected early 2023. There’s still hope.

The link was shared in Beau’s Discord at least 6 minutes before 9am. I don’t know how early it went live on MerchConnection but yeah. I managed to get a Teal copy but only after the checkout broke for ages. Got real lucky.

Beau said it was a few thousand more that’d been ordered. I’d figure that means anywhere from 2-5k. It’ll sell out for sure.

If there are any Australian (or more specifically Brisbane) fans in here, my band is opening for Saosin next week! Will be interesting to see what Songs they do from the Cove albums and if anything is actually played from ISOSG

 

Saosin is getting a lot of shit from fans for promising to play "all the hits from all the albums" as the poster states, but apparently have only been playing AG stuff. Huh.

 

Guess “hits” are subjective

 

Yeah it was a bit of an odd vibe, everyone over here has been quite confused because all the event info and press mentioned the Cove albums and songs specifically so there really wasn't much wiggle room on it haha.
They did end up playing Voices at the 4th show in Adelaide but that was it.

However, Anthony watched our set, was into it and super nice to us so I won't complain.
Beau also seems like the loveliest, happiest guy in the world too.

 

While I prefer zero Cove songs it is indeed weird to promote as such then not do it

 

Agreed, I think the criticism is entirely justified given how it was marketed

 

The people deserve to hear sleepers

 

I am usually pro-bands can play what they want, but definitely odd to market these shows they way they did and then not play stuff from the Cove albums

 

Is it a hot take to say S/T is their best album? I think those songs are so gnarly, and stand really well as great rock songs.

 

I don't think it's a hot take at all. I prefer TTN because I definitely prefer Anthony as a vocalist to Cove, but I think the band really sharpened up their craft on the S/T compared to TTN. I love both equally. Those two releases changed how I perceived and listened to music.
