yes we know they are old. its just the bandcamp post now is weird. as others have also said its probably just a fan who swiped the domain because it wasnt in use.

  2. I wonder how that works. It's like how you often have random people managing to upload their own stuff under a big artist's name on Spotify.

Dropping in to say the self-titled still absolutely rips. Just did a full listen through for the first time in a long time. Man the first 3 tracks just hit you right in the face and flow so perfectly. So good

I stumbled onto this cover recently.

I think it's fine but idk I would think this band would have done more with the cover, it's pretty by the numbers. Hard to even come close to the original though. It was neat to see a band do a Saosin cover though.

I'd like to think of it as giving respect rather than memeing

It's from a cover comp called "Dead Formats" by pure noise

Pure Noise Records and Pabst Blue Ribbon have announced Dead Formats Volume 1, a 15-track compilation featuring the Pure Noise Records roster sharing their takes on the celebrated punk/emo/ska songs that helped shape the scene in the 90’s and 2000’s. Two tracks from the compilation are available today – Hawthorne Heights’ cover of “Inside Out” by Eve 6 and Seaway’s version of Descendents’ classic “I’m The One”. Listen to both songs below.

    1. State Champs - What's My Age Again
    2. Four Year Strong - Brain Stew / Jaded
    3. Drug Church - Someday I Suppose
    4. Microwave - Santeria
    5. Lurk - Fell In Love With a Girl
    6. Seeyouspacecowboy - Seven Years
    7. Hawthorne Heights - Inside Out
    8. Spanish Love Songs - We've Had Enough
    9. Elder Brother - The Black Parade
    10. Rotting Out - Society

That cover isn’t a great representation of the band tbh. I agree that they’re great live.

Touring with Dead American? That's nice to see. Maybe Cove will jump on some songs with Anthony.

(looks like they've done shows together before)

Should have posted this in this thread as well I guess:
AG was on the Brooklyn Vegan podcast this week.

They were talking bout the title, Boom Done. He said that at one point he was planning to not be around when the album came out.

Then said he will either not be doing more solo stuff or will take take a long break to focus on other bands.

in talking about MeWithoutYou he said, "They shouldn't break up, they should just take a little bit of time, play every couple years, play once a year."

Wonder if that is kind of how Circa's thought process is?

He was asked about Circa and he said they were taking a break. But he had high hopes for the next Circa material.

He said the Sao songs they are working on is all heavier than anything else he has done. Said he wanted to make sure it sounds different than any of his other projects.

Also not sure which thread the argument was in about Saosin vs TBS vs Thursday vs Coheed. But he says Saosin was just him trying to rip off Geoff Rickley and Claudio and that's how it came out.

Not a vinyl guy but the TTN vinyl they are selling on this mini tour looks cool. Check their stories if you are curious.

I'm only a casual fan of TTN but it seems like a cornerstone for the genre and thus is required to own.
