This is one of those albums where I've never understood why they released the singles that they did. Ideology, Second Guesses and Stutter are all so crazy good songs IMO.
Which Cove version is that? As far as I'm aware, Anthony Green has been the only vocalist to sing on that track. On another note, I think this new version is amazing.
Cove's was the version that came out on some compilation shortly after he joined the band. I'm sure Youtube search would bring it up easy enough. His vocals on it sound very similar to Anthony's IMO. Like someone else said, his has the backing vocals a bit more pronounced than either anthony version.
You're right, here it is for anyone else who was wondering: I definitely prefer the Anthony Green version but I do hear the similarities between him and Cove.
I'm pretty sure Anthony only did one track, both on the original demo and def in this new one. But really, it's the downgrade in the instrumentals from the one in the post above to the 2020 version that's hard to get past, imo.
I still think red light sounds like a chiodos song or something and I mean that in a bad way especially the intro parts
Illusion & Control has been a personal favorite recently. The album has actually aged very well for me. Maybe with everyone shutting themselves in the band can have more time to work on new music?
What's a Mookie? Is this his other band or is this new Saosin? Edit: Nevermind. I now realized this will be another remaster. For some reason I just did not remember of that song. Damn I really want a new Saosin record.
Interesting livestream I saw the other day with Beau, where he said there was absolutely zero chance Justin would ever be in Saosin again, like really emphatically. The man knows how to burn bridges.
