He came across as very appreciative and mature (and self-deprecating though, but that might be his sense of humor) considering the internal turmoil that led to his departure, even Shane was surprised lol. Props to him I guess.
I just want a follow up to this album with more AG. The live shows with Cove were cool to watch though, really need to see these live hopefully one day.
My Japan import came in today. :D Finally got Drinking from the fountain and Along the Shadow of Man on physical copy, as it should’ve been. Epitaph sucks... AtSoM was clearly meant to be the closer.
So it looks like You're Not Alone was added to the setlist, but Anthony just plays Bass and they leave the singing to Chris, Beau, and the audience-
Oh man. I do a pretty solid you’re not alone at karaoke so if they ever come our way it’s my time to shine lol
Chris sounds really good, and Anthony sounds better singing Voices than when they first played it last year. Also, that outro for Seven Years is great. I would love to know what he's singing in that part.
So glad they're still touring. Was worried they'd do the album then disappear. Now give me a hint at an Anthony LP2 PLEASE
Beau did a Q&A on his Instagram story. Said likely no new album from Saosin this year, hopefully next year. Says he has some songs written but is too busy all year producing albums. He did however discuss re-recording I Can Tell with Anthony's original vocals and planning to release Translating the Name on vinyl with a few extra songs including that and Mookies. Don't expect I've Become What Ive Always Hated though, says it turned into Come Close and they're happy with how it turned out. Hopefully this comes out sooner than later, getting a finished I Can Tell with Anthony and Mookies on Spotify finally would be great
That bridge is fantastic. Disappointed there's no new album this year but glad they sound like they will eventually do it.
