Been listening to this recently and I think I might like it more now than I did when it came out. It's aged well. I hope they keep making new music, too talented to quit now.
@Jake Z I don't remember where did I read that, my bad, but some people could probably back it up - it was a quite long interview around the time of the album release. I was also thinking of something like 'Define The Great Line' by Underoath, it could sound really great, and to be honest - 'Old Friends' sounds a lot like that album too, it's a bit slower and dark enough - I'm sure they could pull it off. They had a few 'bridge moments' like in 'Silver String' where they also gave the songs a bit space to breathe - I thought that was a great hint of such things to work pretty well.
I need to go back and listen to DTGL now and remember that. I'm pretty sure whatever Anthony and Saosin do willl be sick.
If any of y'all are pining for more Cove Saosin, just listen to this. Sounds so similar it might as well be Cove Saosin anyways, lol.
Drums really are the only thing that are lacking from a complete copy. I would have loved this 7 years ago
This album and Vessels still rip. Also I'm digging that Ghost Atlas song. Definitely enjoy Jesse Cash in Erra more though, but yeah he sounds insanely like Cove.
This is prob my favorite "heavy" record in awhile. next to low teens. Can't beat AG screams with that drumming
Yeah I just checked, both days are sold out but it looks like they're selling tickets at the door for the second day. I get paid on Friday and couldn't drop any money on tickets til then :/
I still can't buy tickets before Friday, and I might not even be able to go that night, I don't know for sure yet and it's not for a few months. So we shall see.
