My first listen through the album I was not all that impressed. Now I've listened through it 10+ times and I can't stop. It's just so good. Any of you guys know why they have never put I Can Tell on an album? Really wish I could find a HQ version of it.
Yah but where. That comp and the one with Mookies are like hermits out in the world somewhere, only spoken about but never seen
Yeah I know it was on that, but where does a person find the HQ version? One of their best songs and it's impossible to find. I was really hoping it'd be a bonus track on the new album or something.
They're all great. I would recommend starting from the beginning. Translating the Name EP or the Saosin album from 2006. It's all on Spotify.
Would disagree in saying they're all great. If you're into more screamy/chaotic post-hardcore like early Glassjaw or Thursday, you'll probably like Translating the Name, if you like the mid-2000s emo, the self-titled may become your new favorite from that era (it's soo good), and then if you like heavier alt-rock you may be into their new record. Don't listen to In Search of Solid Ground. It is bad.
Self-titled album is tough enough to get through for me, I don't see myself ever going back to either of the other two ever
But I said earlier in this thread that it's been a long time since I've listened to TTN. Been meaning to go back and give it another try.
