So he’s a grifter for… selling his bands’ merch? I’m still confused here. also I’ve never listened to a Finch album all the way through. Oops.
finch's demo albums both go ham at least, world of violence and phantasma are better than a lot of bands released material (including most of finch's own lmao)
now that you said what you said, finch is releasing a surprise album tomorrow just like enter shikari did!
revisiting ATS this week, I like it again. I loved it when it came out (10?!! years ago FUCK) but I've cooled on Saosin as an entity quite a bit as I get older. ATS is their best record, especially lyrically. ST is good too and I have no real complaints and I'm happy for everyone that loves it, but for me in the aughts it was utterly overshadowed by Juturna and OLG that I just didn't have any reverence for it at all so I really have no nostalgic lens for it. Voices and Sleepers are cool, new song is cool too. I'm happy for everyone
Cove did a podcast where he talked about his entire time in the band a few years ago. He was so much younger than them. He got burned out and then they bullied him as he didn’t take the band seriously. It was a pretty open and honest interview.
Might be hyperbole. But this band should/could have been MCR big. The what if scenario with this group is wild. That EP momentum was wild and the ST momentum was equally crazy. The secret show I went to in sac was the craziest show I’ve ever been to. And the warped tour crowd was better than everything else on that slate. would love to see a 20yrs later monster hit. Even if it’s not the same draw it could have been been in this scenes heyday*
Will never forget Anthony from bayside clapping back at fans for asking whether more was going to follow the interrobang single. Something like “jesus just enjoy the song and moment”
