I just got back home and downloaded the leak... want to finish another album first but after that it'll probably be this the rest of the day haha

 

I like this. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to enjoy this but thankfully I'm into it. Definitely don't think it's anywhere near as good as TTN but that's ok. Control and the Urge is the best song on here.

 

Leaks in bad quality... Why???? Ugh

 

The quality's pretty much what I was expecting from a Pandora stream anyway, haha.

posted above. I'm into it. I was kind of worried since I don't really like the last two Circa albums. I like every song on here a good amount though. I think my least favourite is "Along the Shadow of Man" which I'm not that sure about yet. "Control and the Urge to Pray" is still my favourite.

 

Multiple people saying "Control" is the highlight has me bracing myself for disappointment.

The three songs released prior were fairly mediocre in my book. Being that we've already heard 3/11 and I feel that way, I'm certainly not expecting to be bowled over, but I was holding out hope that they'd held back the very best stuff.

Just started my first listen, and "Ideology" is pretty good. This is clearly going to be pretty straightforward radio-ready stuff, though.

 

It's really not "radio ready" at all

 

I'm starting to think the only people that use this as a derogative statement are people that don't listen to the radio and have no idea what's actually on the radio.

 

Yeah, I don't think it is either.

 

I couldn't see any of the songs on here that I've heard getting radio play.

 

Guilty as charged, actually. I haven't listened to the radio in half a decade.

Let me revise my statement to "radio ready in 2005," then. It's not necessarily derogatory, and that was just an impression based on the 3 lead singles and track 2. Working my way through now and my mind is still open.

 

Well, radio ready in 2005 basically describes Saosin since their inception to a T.

 

I'm actually kind of surprised at how not-radio-ready this sounds. The Silver String aside, there's nothing here that I could see going mainstream.

 

This is the least radio ready thing they've done.

 

I just wish they went with a better quality stream... There are so many parts I'm missing bc of how crappy the quality is
