I like You're Not Alone a lot but it's probably my least favourite song by the band up until that point.
Yeah, it's nothing bad or offensive, it's just not anything that shakes up the record or anything either
This banner is from the site as of right now so hopefully the vinyl for the S/T re-recording goes live. As for the ranking of Saosin albums I'd go Beetle > TTN > ISOSG > ATS
No idea. I know something is releasing today but idk if it's a vinyl, and if it is idk if it will be the re-recording or re-release
What’s the point in re-recording the album? Is it something like what Taylor Swift has done with her albums (in terms of owning the rights)?
They’ve realised they can make dollar off of TTN represses so want a cut of the bug vinyl now too. I don’t blame them! Sucks when major labels impact a bands financial legacy and just general legacy. I don’t get excited for re-recordings, but I’m sure lots will get a kick from it.
It’ll be like the artist in the ambulance re recording. a fun curiosity to listen to but unlikely to overtake the original in my listening
I think its debatable. I listen to artist revisited more than the original now. I prefer the fuller sound
I was referring to the S/T album. I always assumed Death Do Us Part was just something Beau or someone set up for the release.
I Never Wanted To is my favorite song Alex had put drums down to from start to finish. Excellent blend of groove and flash. He nailed it perfectly on that one
