Yeah a lot like the Love finale, this left a bunch of stuff open. Very abrupt ending. I definitely enjoyed it more than season one though.
Finally got around to the second season and it was even better than the first. A lot funnier and the story continues to be genuinely good, the last episode or two were actually pretty intense Olyphant is still easily the highlight of the show though
My girlfriend's been trying to get me to watch this for a few months now and I just never really got to it, but I finally watched through it this week and this show is great. I really can't wait for Season 3. I love Olyphant and the actor who plays Abby. Also, holy shit the Ramona revelation was so hilariously unexpected lmao
Each season continues to be better than the last, holy shit. I watched the whole thing today and it felt like 2 hours Hopefully Olyphant isn't jynxing it here... Santa Clarita Diet's Timothy Olyphant on Zombie Comedy's Fate Amid Netflix Axings: 'Every Time I Turn Around They're Cancelling a Show'
What the fuckk. I can't say I'm too surprised but really disappointed. Easily my favorite ongoing series on Netflix. I may just end up cancelling Netflix at this point and only subscribe when something I care about comes out.
Olyphant, who played Joel Hammond, husband to Barrymore’s Sheila, added: “I loved working on this show. I’m going to continue coming in and doing scenes. If they don’t want to film it, that’s up to them.” Love him lol
