so I know everyone is going to tell me to listen to this older stuff, but I've only heard the last album which I loved and this is way weirder and awesome.
Yup he did it again. Love how it takes the folksiness and more “out there” ideas from Rocket and mixes it with the peacefulness of Beach Music. I’m not sure anything tops Gretel for me but there’s a ton to love on here. And it’s sooooo fucking disorienting hahah
hey thanks for warning me there is a fucking OPN song on the record? This album has all of the bummer twang I loved about Rocket but with some wildly effective electronic excursions I was not expecting
Was hesitant about the record ending on a live track but that song is amazing and the horns are unreal, great note to go out on

yeah this whips ass, so subdued and pleasant, definitely a late-night listen people who dig this should 100% check out this year's waveform. album
I really love the sequencing on this. The whole middle section is so fucking weird and I love how it all gets reigned back in for the last few tracks. The last four are so pretty.
