So pumped for this, though. His debut loses a bit of steam for me in the second half, but glad to hear he’s intentionally going a direction more like Borders.

also this single and the description of the album sounds like this is “The Borders: The Album” and I could not be more hyped

Title track is amazing

 

Yeah cool song, gonna try to hold off listening to it a ton though, October is really far away

lol that is… a lot of great songs to compare a single song too.

 

Bold claims, Sam. Is he talking about the single? I'll be honest and say I didn't hear any of that. "Will We Talk" is still one of the best Springsteen homages of the past few years, though.

 

Hold Out remains my favorite song from him, but there are some absolute gems on that first album.

 

i like hypersonic missiles (the song) more than, like, 3/4 of bruce songs

 

Nah, the closer. Apparently it’s a sequel to “Dead Boys” from the last album.
