Best comedy of the 2000s?

 

I take Apatow over Ferrell/McKay easily

 

He could've killed him!

 

That Ferrell/McKay run is the stuff of legends. But right now, even after The Bubble, i'd rather watch a new Apatow than a new McKay movie at this point

McKay is at least relatable every middle aged dad eventually makes reading his personality

 

The Bubble and Don't Look Up are both deeply unfunny movies from once great comedic minds that allowed twitter to rot their brains for good

 

The Bubble is quite a bit worse than Don't Look Up, which is a shame given the cast.

 

My free time to watch movies is far too sparse to watch either of those. Also why I'm so annoyed that so many people talked about this bullshit that we decided to spend our Sunday watching it

 

He does a lot more TV than film, but Jody Hill deserves an honorable mention for Observe and Report.
