Halfway through now, and I can already tell I am going to listen to this album SO much.

Glad to hear Maryn recorded some stuff for the album. I didn't notice her but I only listened to the NPR stream once. Just saw that my record isn't supposed to get here till early next week. Annoying, but I'm excited to really dive in and also see what fun thing Zac made to go along with it.

 

“Denarius” is one of the best songs this band has produced. Everything about that song is just incredible to me.

 

Had no idea this was out today. Time to dive in

where is maryn on this. the only time i notice her is at the end of the album

 

i could've sworn i heard her somewhere else on the album, but yeah most noticeably at the end. gonna continue to keep an ear out for her

 

I think that’s her in the background on “Beast in the Garden,” but I could be wrong.

 

oh well, thing still slays.

 

I love this. Frostbiter is a SOTY contender.

This album is wonderful! I'll be listening to it quite a bit over the rest of the year

Never heard of Saintseneca but I'll be exploring their discography asap!

 

After listening to this I realize that that played most of these when I saw them earlier this year. Great stuff

 

You're in for a treat. The two albums that precede this one are similarly excellent

Damn this Friday was a sleeper release week, did not think there was a whole lot coming out but now I’m adding this to a list of albums that floored me this week. This is great

I’ve listened to the first few tracks of those three though and really liked what I heard so I’m sure they’ll probably hold up. One or two other releases I wanna check out too but they’re not as high up on my list.

 

Also Wild Nothing released a new record

 

no surprise they were amazing tonight. solid, wide ranging setlist (which i snagged) plus two encore songs. really happy they played pillar of na.

black belt eagle scout were real rad as well.
