I'm honestly not too sure. I would assume they're traveling with the van/bus. Spencer and Austin (and presumably anyone else who tested positive in their camp) are isolating and not traveling with them currently.

I'm just wondering what precautions are able to take place in the middle of a tour when half of a band tests positive and the other half plays acoustic. This is....something

Are Destroy Boys dropping because of the situation surrounding them (and the public outcry for them to be kicked off) or for a different reason?

Whoever Alexia is is dropping due to mental illness from the statement read.

What's the situation with Destroy Boys? I'm kind of in the dark on that one.

I've seen lots of replies on Sad Summer's socials for them to drop off so I'm not sure if there's more to the situation than this or not

Honestly I think Destroy Boys were the subject of a big internet pile-on not because they did something outsizedly wrong compared to other bands in the scene (ADTR, Falling In Reverse, etc.) but just because they're small enough to maybe take down.

Virtually the entirety of their wrongdoing can be boiled down to Vi allegedly talking shit about Lydia from The Regrettes while she was being groomed by Joey from SWMRS. Vi wasn't involved in or responsible for it, just happened to know them. The Twitter discourse essentially shifted to handing them responsibility for not outing Joey & Lydia's relationship, which is absolutely insane.

But by then the pile-on had started, and everyone started spilling dirt on Vi and calling them emotionally abusive. And as far as I know that's fair, but it's both unrelated to the original allegations of enabling Joey (which again, were flimsy at best), and isn't worth the constant barrage of harassing tweets I see thrown towards the band, and it doesn't surprise me that it would take an emotional toll on all of them.

The rest of the tour dates are requiring proof of vaccination or negative test.

Should have been the case tonight in Harrisburg honestly. I know it's not Sad Summer, but even being one of the off-date shows it absolutely should have been the case as well. Masks weren't even enforced/barely worn tonight. Double masked myself and my fiance, and just kind of hoping for the best. First (and probably last) indoor show for a while for us.

Excited for Sad Summer outside on Saturday though. Hoping for good weather!

It’s good that a lot of shows are mandating masks or requiring vaccinations/negative tests, which I support, but if you’re going anywhere where they aren’t then it’s on you.

I haven’t seen it really in this thread, but I’ve seen people getting super annoyed with others who aren’t wearing masks where they aren’t required. If you’re concerned, you shouldn’t go. There, 100%, will be folks not wearing masks unless they have to. Focus on what you can control. There are a bunch of shows I’ve decided to skip on because it honestly isn’t worth the risk even if masks/vaccinations are required.

SO excited to finally see this show tomorrow in NYC. Can't believe it's actually happening. Does anyone know the current situation with Movements? Probably still playing an acoustic set, yeah?

pretty sure it’s still acoustic. Stay safe in the heat. On top of COVID, this summer has been pretty brutal heat/humidity wise

For sure, I'm planning on drinking more water than beer haha. This summer really has been brutal.

Echoing Zach, that Pier 17 rooftop gets pretty hot! It's such an awesome venue though, great views of the bridges and the city.

We brought sunscreen to Philly in 2019 & weren't allowed to bring it in, I really hope that's not the case here
