I think this is fine. Good Graces and Sharpest Tool were standouts, but a lot of it falls kinda flat for me, which doesn’t shock me cuz I’d have had Espresso way way down on any personal songs of the summer list.
Those are definitely the two that stood out in that regard. “Dumb & Poetic” has big Billie Eilish vibes.
I just watched Death Becomes Her, really wished Sabrina got pushed down that staircase. Great video though, they were having so much fun.
This is ok…wasn’t familair with her prior to Espresso (easily the best track here). A lot of this just sounds like random studio tracks from multiple producers thrown together. Im not seeing a through line here. Def excited to see where she goes in the future but this one isn’t for me.
Oh no on first listen it all just kind of blended together for me. As a fan of her last album, I'm sure when I spend more time with it I will like it more. Don't dislike it, it just all kind of blended together for me on initial listen
“Espresso” is definitely not in the top half of this album for me, haha. I think that song is…kind of stupid.
I am not a pop person. Don't like Taylor Swift or stuff like that but this is really hitting for me. Haven't dug a pop album this much since Art Angels.
I want some congratulations for not burning myself out on Espresso and Please Please Please. Absolutely no desire to skip those on my first playthroughs.
