finally getting around to the new songs. the Please Please Please remix needed to commit to one sound and it would've been a lot better (easiest way to do this is to lean full country and remove the pop flourishes). also, i unironically think "like the others" should've been the substitute for "motherfucker" on the clean version and not "little sucker".

Album is great, ain’t it? She’s done to me what Chappell did to me last year in that I just want to listen to her and not much else.

Really entered my pop era as I entered my 40s

Posting this here because there isn’t a dedicated Rachel Chinouriri thread, but it’s still relevant.

She’s a British artist and is opening for Sabrina right now, this is so awesome for her. She canceled touring as support in the US last year because it was too much of a financial risk/burden for her. Her music is really good, I hope this leads the great opportunities for her.

That production is something else. Love when the sax gets in there at the end, very reminiscent of the lived-in sound from the last 1975 album that Jack produced.
