these bonus tracks feel very... unfinished. Definitely sound like they were just plucked from the trash pile and cleaned up slightly
Oh, I’d missed that there was a Zane Lowe interview with the album drop. I’ll have to go back to that when I get a chance.
That acknowledgement of the song being goofy during the actual song honestly is a huge reason why I like it so much.
my mind rotates between having Please Please Please, Good Graces, and Bed Chem stuck on repeat at all hours of the day
I was hoping there would be cheap tickets for her STL show but no dice. I wanna go but paying like $300-500 is just not in the cards for me at the moment. I’ll definitely go next time IF she comes back through since it’s a C/D market.
Congrats on her #1. Did she like come out nowhere though? I don’t remember a single person talking about her previous record/singles…she didn’t have a single festival date on her last tour. Then she just starts showing up all over fetsival lineups this year and gets a major push at radio. Did she hire a new team or something? New label?
Nonsense and Feather were pretty big hits last year, I would hear them all the time at work. And then the Eras tour got her lots of Swiftie fans (my mom and sisters like her because of Taylor) Then Espresso dropped the same day she played Coachella and the rest was history
I never heard those tracks, then again I don’t listen to much radio or TikTok, if that’s where they broke. the swiftie pipeline makes sense, it’s really wild seeing how many acts get a Taylor bounce. It’s like the Bill Walsh coaching tree of pop music ha. edit: just listened to them, def heard them before I just assumed they were Ariana songs
At the risk of bringing back the "chart talk," the size of the Travis drop versus the Sabrina hold is pretty wild.
