Like; yeah man I haven’t posted in this thread, but I’ve kept up and haven’t wanted to even say anything because you continuously have steered it towards non stop chart talk lol you have actively made me not want to discuss it so congrats
I think talking about chart stuff is fine even if I have next to zero interest in it. A thread for chart stuff might be good if that doesn't already exist.
Literally all my "chart talk" has happened in the past two days?! And it amounts to like, a dozen posts. Also, I'm not even the person posting the chart-related tweets in here!
I do wonder how awkward the shows will feel just as someone who saw Olivia Rodrigo recently and watched a bunch of kids yell scream "cant get you off!" This must've been how my parents felt with me singing along to bb Britney back in the day
Pop singer sings overly grotesque shocking sexual lyrics or insinuations literally occurs in every single generation. It gets more vulgar cause more is needed for the shock value the singer is going for. I don't really have an opinion on it but I tend not to personally like when it's too obnoxious or aggressive. I remember how embarrassing "hit me baby one more time" was in the car with my parents lol.
I adore the shit out of this, this is such a fun pop record. Kinda wish it came out earlier in the summer honestly, this is like stuff you just blast driving around on a sunny summer day.
This came out and then I literally flew to Europe for our 10 year anniversary. I was at the pool pretty much all day yesterday with this on repeat overlooking Porto. It hits.
This is a radio pop album I don't know how anybody could believe there wouldn't be talk of charts in this thread lol
lol sorry to spoil your fun with ten minutes of back and forth with a friend. I don’t see you in this thread saying anything about the music on this album though, just concerntrolling a few lyrics. Have the conversation you want to have… unless maybe the convo you want to have is just complaining about what other people talk about.
Nah you can’t pull the “they aren’t even talking about the music!” with me. Check my posts in the thread, been discussing the actual songs since the day it was released.
Friendly reminder that for exactly two shows Sabrina and Renee Rapp starred together in Mean Girls on Broadway.
