Also, if Sabrina’s streaming numbers are popping off now, just wait until next month when we get to hear her on the title track of Taylor’s new album. She is going to be on the Billboard 200 for the next 5 consecutive years.

 

This keeps growing on me. I find her songwriting style and vocal delivery so fun. It's a great progression from her last record.

 

This is very good. I know Short n Sweet was like her sixth record, but in many ways it was kind of a debut or at least a reintroduction. And this has Room on Fire vibes. Time will be kind to it, it’s just so similar and so quickly coming on the heels of the last record. There will be a cohort of people who eventually prefer it to SS. It’s also smart to put this out now rather than wait 2-3 years to put out a record so sonically and thematically similar to the last one. That would bother people. This feels more like a continuation of an era within a 12 month period. I’d assume the next record will bring a change up.

On first listen I thought this was pretty fun if unremarkable. After a handful, it's only grown on me. I'm not saying it's anything all that special, but it has a real charm to it and I enjoy how carefree it feels.
