I enjoy the album. Don't think it's vastly different than the last one. Had some cute catchy songs and some more filler ones but nothing unpleasant. Lyrics seem fine and genuine for a 20-something woman navigating dealing with men.

 

I’m coming around to a few of the songs a bit more. Still not loving it as a whole though

 

Admittedly don't want to sift through the whole album but besides Manchild what's the catchiest song?

This is a massive disappointment and in contention for the worst pop record of 2025. 12 variations on the same song, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that but there's nowhere near enough in the tank to make it work. Lyrics do redeem it a bit but it's a nosedive from her previous record. She could have followed it up properly with another, like, year in the kitchen. Swing and a miss, but she seems to be doing damn well off this one and I'm happy for her.

 

12 versions of the same song??

I need to listen again before passing judgement but while I do feel this has a consistent vibe, for lack of a better word, I feel like there is more than a couple of subgenres represented. It's pop, "Tears" is disco, there is some country (and even folk) thrown in...idk. I get the criticisms about it potentially being a downgrade from a songwriting standpoint, but I wouldn't exactly call it samey

 

It’ll be in my top 10 at the end of the year. Very good and fun.
