    Man's Best Friend - great
    Tears - love it
My Man on His Willpower - good
    Sugar Talking - good
We Broke Up Again - fine, the lyrics are painfully modern, but the melodies almost remind me of the Beach Boys. Would love to hear this one taken more in that direction.
Nobody's Son - good, also reminding me of something but can't quite place it
Never Getting Laid - great, maybe my favorite.
When Did You Get Hot? - love it, more Ariana-lite
Go Go Juice - good, completely what I expect from her
    Don't Worry - fine
    House Tour - great
    Goodbye - really good

I liked it, good album, some real highlights. Exactly what I expected from her. A more subdued Short n Sweet with less immediate bangers, but similar quality. Never Getting Laid is probably her best ballad yet, perfect use of her very specific sense of humor.

I’d like her vocals boosted a little bit more in the mix. Getting washed out sometimes. The songs are fun, need time with them.

i’ve been meaning to tell you

yeah this is super fun. short n sweet is basically a perfect album to me so this a step down, i guess, but still really enjoyable. funny, interesting songwriting with her signature exaggeratedly winking, in-on-the-joke delivery. i got what i wanted.

Not finished yet but not liking this at all, I am sorry to say. More detailed thoughts to come, but, it just doesn’t feel like much is being said yet. Tongue and cheek can be fun but maybe not when the tongue is like, surgically attached to the cheek.

  16. Little over half way in ... and I find this breezy and enjoyable ... it's always interesting when you can feel the internet or commentariat about to turn on something and then it just starts happening regardless of the quality of the actual music. I've seen this cycle so many times and watched it turn good, but not exceptional, albums into who can fire off the most hyperbolic take and that ends up defining the entire album. This feels like some Sabrina backlash as a whole sitting under the surface.

Really loved Short n Sweet, this didn’t really do much for me on first listen though. Tears, House Tour and When Did You Get Hot? were the ones that stuck out to me. Gonna give it a few more spins but I’m just not sure this one is gonna go anywhere for me.

it makes me wonder about the nature of fandom. did folks like the artist or what the artist stood for in that specific moment? I've gotta find out how all these vinyl variants sold.

    Ok, I just finished it.

Sabrina strikes me as someone who has worked hard for where she is, and 100% deserves her success, but it does feel like she is playing a character now. The added country twang affectations on her voice, she just does not come across to me with the same sincerity(?) as she did on Emails I Can’t Send.

In a vacuum, the album is fun, and an easy listen. Releasing this on the almost immediate heels of Short N Sweet was certainly a choice. I just don’t think I will come back to this much at all. I still wish her success, but praying we get back to Emails Sabrina in the near future.

Favorite tracks are Nobody’s Son and House Tour for sure.

Long timer lurker first time poster. I didn’t care for the last album because it felt scattered brain on what she really wanted to do. I feel leaning into the gimmick is really selling who she is now and I think this album is doing exactly that. Super fun listen.

Solid album. I think I like SNS better but Sabrina’s music tends to grow on me over time. I didn’t care for Taste the first time I heard it and now it’s unskippable, so I gotta leave room for growth.

Tears sounds like Positions-era Ariana Grande to me, her vocal delivery is super similar IMO. When Did You Get Hot sounds inspired by ITZ-era Britney, which I love for Sabrina. Those two tracks are the standouts (I do love the danceable songs most) but I’m sure that will change with time
