Saba: CARE FOR ME Album Review | Pitchfork

 

Looked into Saba on Pitchfork due to the high score. Heard Logout and wow. What a track.. gonna check this out asap

 

Logout has been on repeat, can't stop. This is amazing. I hope the rest of the album got somewhat similar vibe

 

Honestly, one of my less favorite tracks on the record. They’re all incredible though.

 

Bucket List Project was a sleeper hit that year and this record is even better

 

I was really into Bucket List. After my first listen though, I think this is another level up

 

Yeah same, the whole album is unreal. Can’t believe I’d never heard him before

 

The production reminds me of all my favorite parts of Take Care

 

Finally heard it at work today and it's fantastic. I'm not too into hip hop, but this is right up my alley

 

This really needs more attention.

I like this album a lot. It definitely goes to some dark places I didn't expect it to. So much good music over the last couple weeks though, so it's been hard to remember to come back to it.

 

Dig this so far.

 

Seeing him live tonight. Excited.

 

Wow yeah this is fantastic

 

This album floors me every time I listen to it. Probably going to be my AOTY

Saba: Tiny Desk Concert

 

Pretty sure this is my hip-hop AOTY (and almost certainly in my top five for the year). The beats are incredible.

 

Yeah its between this and Noname for me

 

This is definitely up there for me. This has been a fairly strong year for hip hop though...

Freddie Gibbs, Maxo Kream, Pusha T, Denzel Curry, Joey Purp, Travis Scott, Father, Brockhampton, Sheck Wes... I'm probably forgetting some.

 

I really need to watch the Tiny Desk. I've been going back to random tracks off this a lot this week.
