I'm indifferent to birthdays but also my 20th birthday she threw a surprise party for me and no one had ever done anything like that for me before and it's still one of my happiest memories so like. y'know???

Had a good time last night and am feeling better. Didn't wake up til like 20 minutes ago tho, but hey.

 

Bout to go work out so I can come back and eat the leftover curry I expertly made last night

 

There are five birthdays worth celebrating and that's it.:

1. 1st birthday
2. 18th birthday
3. 21st birthday
4. 50th birthday
5. 100th birthday

i like celebrating my birthday

 

I'm okay with people celebrating their birthdays, I just don't think anyone needs "Birthday weeks" after they're a teenager. I also don't need Facebook posts stating "OMG only 63 days until my birthday."

 

I usually always either have a get-together or go out for the night on my birthday. It's always been enjoyable and I look forward to it every year

Plus I usually get free drinks. I walked into the party store to buy two tall boys of Rolling Rock and the guy at the counter gave them to me for free once he saw my birthday ribbon

 

Life doesn't seem worth celebrating so it always feels weird celebrating my birthday, what's so special that I didn't die

Turning the big 3 0 next month so kinda have to this year

 

Because we're all lucky you're still alive and well!

 

i used to like birthdays...

 

this year was nice, fell on a monday so i had a whole weekend of a lot of friends who i hadn't seen in a while, spent a nice day with just my bf, then went for an awesome dinner the day of and ended it by playing video games with friends who had no idea it was even my birthday.




also went to whataburger quite a bit but this isn't the thread for that
