They keep showing me pictures like, "Isn't this just the cutest! We should adopt it!!" And I point out all of these things and they just say "Don't worry about it!"

Its like, "Yo, a big concern is your 'don't worry about it' attitude."

Ehh.. He's been one of my best friends for 10+ years. I'm not trying to blow that up. I can count the people I hang out with on two hands and two of them live with me. I'll probably just tell them they can go on their way without me. It just sucks because my living situation kinda rules right now.

 

They are saying they don't want a puppy, but I know them well enough that they are getting a fucking puppy.

 

This blizzard may prevent me from seeing Phoebe Bridgers. I want to cry

Yeah if they can't be trusted to do the basic minimum stuff at the apt right now, there's no way in hell they should get a puppy. Bear and I are on week three together. Unless they have at least an hour in the morning, an hour over lunch, and a couple hours in the evening to both work on commands and exercise them, don't do it. Unless they are able to get up every 2-3 hours in the middle of the night for the next several weeks, dont do it. Puppies chew everything: couch, chair, clothes, woodwork, hands, faces, feet, pant legs, etc etc etc and you have to be watching them constantly to redirect them to another toy. Crate training has been a fucking nightmare so far. I am exhausted

 

That really sucks and I hope it lets up.

That sucks, I always get so anxious about winter concerts being snowed out, it's March there aren't supposed to be blizzards

 

I've never had that problem occur, the idea is very troubling

 

I've never been a big fan of dogs tbh

 

Shortly is opening tonight, she's really great too

 

I'm glad that I haven't had it happen in a few years. Being sick the night of shows is another story.

 

Guess that's one more artist for me to check into

 

I don't know if it's ever actually happened to me but I still worry, I also worry about outdoor shows being rained out

I do a lot of unnecessary worrying

 

It just sucks because I know Phoebe won't be playing this small of a show again here, it's in a tiny venue

 

I did have that happen once. It was a free show, but also one of my favorite bands so I was bummed

My friend was in the same position and her roommate got the dog and my friend basically became the owner and it was a huge thing
