barely. Touche Amore is the glaring exception. i even skip the one Hotelier song with screaming. it just sounds so insincere to me, like, that is no one's actual reaction to guttural scream to me and it often comes off faux macho idk. yelling is a different story.

 

I think the screaming would be more off putting than the religion in this case. Thrice is blatantly more religious besides the closing song on two albums

but that’s okay

 

to be clear i'm not turned off by religious sentiments or anything, obviously Gaslight and such have religious undertones throughout, but i'm one of those weirdos that doesn't like Thrice either most stuff that could be labeled as post-hardcore, i never really got on with.

I ended up watching the Top Gear Saab tribute from when they went out of business on the treadmill last night.

I'm thinking about going back after work again and trying the weird nordic track type thing that's not an elliptical. I'm enjoying the physical activity.
