i downloaded all of CSH's discography and like after 10 or so of their songs coming on shuffle over the following few weeks while I was driving, I just could not stand it so I deleted them out of my library entirely. I generally like lofi, but man, some of those songs are a chore for me to listen to. I did like his one song fill in the blank or whatever that he performed on colbert I think. I'll give them another shot, though.

 

It's hard to tell. We've been training him so much that he might just be getting better on his own, but he's had no truly aggressive moments since we started him on it, so I think it has helped some. He still freaks out when we leave, but he tends to sleep. Today, I forgot to put the baby gate at the top of the steps, so when I came home at lunch, he had been sleeping on our bed upstairs haha. He didn't even great me at the door. It's amazing because we thought we were screwed when he figured out how to open his crate, but the only thing he's done so far has been to destroy the blinds so he could see outside. I think we're gonna use up the products we have now and then see how he is off of it. Our trainer's company sells CBD treats that are very legitimate, so we might buy a bag of those to have on hand in case things get crazy and he can't stop with the zoomies.

holy fuck man, like three or four days without caffeine and replaced it with 2.5 liters of water a day and i feel like a different person. not a single headache, no idea how this is going so smoothly, expected to want to die

 

yeah, echoing people above, teens of Denial isn't lofi and very accessible and he is releasing a rerecorded version in twin fantasy. He's definitely got uh a personality though lol. Great music though

 

what prompted you to try this?

 

Yeah wtf I had caffeine headaches for a month last year when I couldn't afford it anymore. I didn't even know that's what it was til way later when i finally had coffee again

 

just like a gradual slope off of everything
- zoloft last year because it didn't feel great
- alcohol along with it because i told myself if im gonna quit the prescribed vice i should drop the elective (obv there are exceptions, but i average less than one night a month drinking)
- weed's gone now too, since last week, mainly because i want a new job but also because i want to be sharp and witty and fall in lovewithable and when i smoke i stress over every interaction

that left caffeine as the only thing i was putting in me to alter things. on saturday, i woke up to a text from friends asking me to meet them at the farmer's market, and i had to rush so i didn't have a monster, and i didn't miss it either so i said fuck it

If I have a 1/4th a cup of caffine at 7am I am guaranteed to be awake at least until 1am. For some reason I'm hyper sensitive to it. A normal amount makes me lose focus but music sounds amazing, my ideas are ace, and my strength goes through the roof. I'm envious of everyone who can handle it.
