Thank you Cam. I don't want to keep talking about it here because I don't want people to get annoyed with me but we found out our dog has bone cancer. I'm so sick to my stomach today and don't know how I'm going to make it through. I was in shock yesterday but today really feeling it

 

Has your dog been sickly and lethargic? What made you discover the illness? I'm so sorry to hear that. Knowing your dog is sick is absolutely brutal. But that's only because of how great they are as friends.

 

Hopefully being with people will keep your mind distracted.

 

Its our family dog so my mom and dad took her to the vet because she cant walk on her paw.

I’m really drained today. Funeral is today and I’m just really worried how my family will handle it. It’s weird having to be the strong one out of the four of us this time

 

i'm so sorry kate. believe it or not i lost my first family dog to bone cancer as well, it got him at the hip.

I haven't checked government. Maybe there's something in that. I have a relatively high income requirement for the someone with no degree and don't really feel like I'm good at anything, so that makes things fun

Me thinking about making upper management money but getting treated shitty by the CEO, Leonard.

 

My parents are going to let me know more soon but if the cancer hasn't spread they may amputate her leg.

 

I just ordered the "calm & quiet" for my rescue dog who has only been with us a month but gets too wound up and shows aggression, we really don't know what quality of life he had before, but it seems it wasn't good. He also seems to be terribly afraid of his crate, so we're hoping this will calm him down and help him settle in. Everything I've read about treats like these make it sound like they're really helpful for dogs with anxiety and mobility issues.

 

Oh poor pup! I really hope it works for him. Let me know the results!

 

honestly, such a better option than losing them as long as there is a solution to mobility (there's gotta be). hope it doesn't cost your family out the wahzoo and you get more years outta your pup

Ive seen dogs walking with 3 legs a few times so hopefully that's an option for her! I will definitely try to help pay for some of it if I can...is definitely worth it imo.
