today i wanted something and went to buy it

but then realized i had more important things to spend money on and didn't buy it

shower me with praise

 

im trying to sell my house so I can move and looking for a new job. so much stuff i need to do still and there's a bunch of shit coming up at work that I would like to not have to do so I wish things could move along more quickly haha

 

capitalism is now dead

i feel the second half hard, drafting a new resume right now because i'm telling myself the old one is the only reason i'm not the president rn

 

ideally i will end up in denton but im looking several places in yalls area

 

the short version is the commercial space my employer has rented for ~20 years is being put on the market kind of suddenly and without warning. the lady who owns it has kids that got involved and i think they think they're going to get a big pay day out of the deal. anyway, sounds like we're going to be moving offices by the end of next month and my bosses are cheap so they won't want to pay movers and also horrible at organization so that move is going to be a goddamn trainwreck and i want no part in helping with it

yesterday our basement flooded at work and some dumb fuck put boxes of records in the records room on the floor NEXT TO EMPTY FUCKING SHELVES so now I have a handful of boxes of records and rolls of plats and maps that have been water damaged that I have to try and salvage and recover god fucking damnit
