"it is what it is" is one of my least favourite sayings of all time

 

it's one of my favorites haha

 

I use it every time a client doesnt like the answer to something lol

 

It's basically a polite way of saying "Fuck you" when you've lost an argument but have no counterpoint

 

I use it to mean it's out of my control but I can see why if you see it like that you'd hate it

I do say it to customers sometimes too and it does mean fuck you but like in those situations I literally can't do anything

 

or to tell someone “this is what you have to do no matter what” lol

 

I like that better. More direct. Actually somewhat constructive.
