I listen to pop punk in 2018

 

When I worked there in 11th grade, it was more the case that we forgot to put the liquid into the machine that turns into aoft serve.

Pop punk is one of the few genres that dares to remember music can be fun and thus is especially worthwhile in 2018

I dont know where I'm getting off trying to give you shit. I've been listening to Total Eclipse of the Heart for literally half an hour

 

I guess my sleep schedule is super fucked up because I always adjust immediately when I go there, it's always like "it's 11 am but it's really 2 am New York time" and I'm like no biggie going to sleep at 2 am you suckers go to sleep at 9

 

because it's the one genre I can't think of any sad songs, there's no depressing Reel Big Fish songs

I will say that pop punk hasn’t really aged well and that pop punk bands that don’t expand don’t really do much for me (see: the wonder years for a good example of how to grow, new found glory as a bad one).

New Found Glory had some good songs, I just can't imagine now gravitating towards pop punk if you're just getting into music and how it's still a thing, but the old stuff can be good

it's a 3 hour difference, I think the biggest time difference I did was like 5 or 6 in Europe and I was fine then too pretty quickly

 

I'd argue that NFG has aged just fine.

Yeah. I’m too ingrained in the pop word to choose pop punk for where I’m at now. But I respect anyone willing to just say “let’s have fun, we need it”

 

My favorite band in 9th grade was Less Than Jake

 

Oh yeah no one asked me but I’m pretty much the exact target that “emo night” is looking for. One half of the music I listen to is all that old pop punk emo stuff.
The other half is whatever my ex showed me which is mostly rap but some eclectic genres as well

Also I listen to the radio bc I also love top 40s/pop

 

The first half of this project took 11 hours so I figured the second half (which is the final for my course) would take at least as long. Done with that shit in 45 minutes.

 

That was my last school project before I graduate. Now for alcohol.
