The tracklisting for the second of his three records this year has been shared also.

 

"Doylestown Girl" and "Manchester" were...okay. Kind of RA by numbers, where I was expecting something a little different based on the cover art/title/studio clip.

Looking forward to this regardless, though. He's one of my favorites.

I like the sound of the guitars and the springtime feel of the music. Some interesting imagery in the lyrics, as well. I dig it.

Kind of an underwhelming guest spot from Mr. Mayer, though. That’s a guitar solo?

I'm a RA fan but this reaffirms my belief that he doesn't have a filter slash doesn't edit well. 32 songs across two albums with a third in the next 12 months is a lot.

 

Hope he tours the US this fall. Seems like he's in the UK all April before the first album drops.

I think there is a big part of all these situations that is being missed as well. I think that (to an extent, of course) it's OK for people to fuck up and be pieces of shit, many times in ways that these celebrities are... BUT the onus is on them to own up to it with the people they hurt, to actively try to mend bridges and be a better person. Too often men are being pieces of shit and not owning up to it, not admitting it, not apologizing, until they are called out.
