He definitely did, one song has a line "I'm mean because I grew up in New England" and all of a sudden every angsty teen from affluent towns in Massachusetts made tiktoks of it. He;s like from way up in Vermont, not metro-west Boston

It does feel like it passes over how good his latest album is though.

I've never heard of this guy before, but I just listened to his album Stick Season and I loved the whole thing. Thought it was fantastic.

 

From someone that did not like “Stick Season” at all when I first heard it, don’t sleep on Noah Kahan. That record is great!

 

first time listening to this guy and The Weakness reminds me of Manchester Orchestra, I approve

 

I'm jealous of the backlog you're about to discover for the first time from him.
