This song Ruston co-wrote has been out for a bit but this version with an actual vocal feature is new. Song is great:
His stories on Instagram yesterday seemed to be hinting at a tour announcement Tuesday- unless I misunderstood them lol

I did not *love* the version on the album when it came out, and then it ended being my most played song of 2023. this is really beautiful, but I do prefer the original version.
I like this much better than the album version. Though the album overall was underwhelming to me. And I’ll hold out hope for Texas dates later on
This piano version is a nice alternate take (and I probably like it more than the album one), but I do still wish we had one with the album's arrangement and tempo that sounds like it was recorded in the 2020s instead of the 1940s
The piano version is fine, but I much prefer the album version. I like that performance more, and the production (or lack thereof) doesn't bother me at all.
New EP out 3/22: Buoyed by recent stints opening for Maren Morris and Noah Kahan, Kelly is looking ahead to his headline acoustic tour in support of Weakness, Etc, an all-new EP collecting seven songs recorded in tandem with Kelly’s much-admired third studio album, 2023’s The Weakness. The EP also includes such recently released tracks as “Heaven Made The Darkness” and the plaintive “Belly of the Beast,” both available now on DSPs and streaming services. Weakness, Etc arrives via Rounder Records on Friday, March 22.

It would be cool if there was a comment version of polls. Need to see a version vote for album v. piano. @Jason Tate would that be super difficult?
100% going to the Charlottesville show. And it looks like it’s more of a stripped down tour? Cool? Gonna go bawl so hard.
I'm not sure what this means. Polls are available to create? Or a third party could be used and linked.
