I like all his LPs, but each has been a slight step down from the previous for me. Hoping this one reverses the trend.

 

SAD > Dying Star > Weakness for me

 

So Pickleball, Give up the Ghost, Wayside, Half Past Three, Twisted Root, Me & You were all performed during the Dirt Emo nights. Don't love that a 4 song run is available (plus pickleball deeper in the track list )

Y'all will be OK hearing an acoustic version of a new song once in a bar with people trying to have full conversations over it.

 

Very few albums from the past 10 years have hit me as hard as Dying Star, so I'm kind of guessing that will always be my favorite of his. SAD is great too. The Weakness, I definitely go back to significantly less than the other two.

Song is great, perfect singalong. I love The Weakness, even if it doesn’t quite measure up to the first two in my personal canon. This is an instant preorder for me, though I’m kind of frustrated that it’s $10 for shipping.
