Ugh stop torturing me Craig! Only listened to Jericho and Mockingbird so far and it has not been easy holding off on these other 2.

 

I did a full-on double take when he said "Germantown" but then I remembered that there's one in Nashville so he's probably not talking about Philly.

 

Gonna wait on listening to this one, I think, but man, waiting for this album is so damn hard.

 

Yup I only listened to one single. This is most anticipated after BRM and Phosphorescent.

 

This is shaping up to be the best Whiskeytown album in ages!

 

Seems like everyone doesn't want to hear anymore until release, but...

Yeah, by my count that’s 6 of 14.

 

It's 7 if "A******" is actually "Anchors."

 

But it's not right? I assumed that was his demo "Asshole"

 

“Anchors” is a completely different (better) song.

 

Yeah I haven't heard anchors, Asshole is alright. He played it when I saw him and it was a fun song to hear live but I'm glad it's not on the album.

 

I figured

 

"Anchors" is the best song on the record, IMO.

 

The new Lucie Silvas album features a version of "Just for the Record," a song she and Ruston wrote together/one of my favorite tracks on Dying Star.

I'm so excited for this and upset I didn't have this record all Summer.

 

Might be a blessing in disguise. It’s a great fall record.

 

Yeah if it's anything like I'm picturing I'm glad it's being released in the fall

 

I only listened to the first single. I’m very excited. Can’t believe It’s almost fall.

 

I just saw that he will be playing a free album release show at Grimey's in Nashville on 9/7 at 5pm. I'm super excited because my wife and I are actually going to be in Nashville that day. Has anyone ever been to a show like this there that can give any insight on what time we should show up or anything like that? I just don't want to miss it because we have really been into his music lately.
