My wife and I have been working on a re-watch of the series over the last few months. Currently on the Season 13 finale - one of those seasons where I like the queens, but the overall arc has been a little lackluster since Tamisha Iman left.

 

I’m really enjoying this season so far. Perfect mix of drama and laughs

I checked out on this show a few ago because im not the audience for it. HOWEVER, I have two friends on this season and you’re going to fall in love with them.

 

that’s so exciting! I haven’t watched a full season in years, it got to be really overkill with all the international versions. The show is approaching the time for overhaul, I’d love to see Ru pass the baton to Sasha Colby for her to take over.

She can go retire with her fracking money.

I’ve pivoted from the actual show to being obsessed with a lot of the podcasts that came from the drag world (Race Chaser/Hot Goss, Very Delta, Sibling Rivalry, Sloppy Seconds, etc)

 

Season 15 was the last I watched, but that's because Sasha fuckin Colby was on there. Everything feels so sanitized and the same at this point. It's become a huge brand that doesn't really set itself apart. Everything feels forced for the "content" with them putting out what feels like 20 seasons a year.

Northeastern OH is represented by an amazing person this year and there's no doubt that she will not be a fan favorite and one of Ru's favorite as well.

 

Can’t wait! Just finished the latest UK season and that was one of the best drag race season every maybe

That’s horrible!

 

Surprised there's not a lot of chatter here for the current season... I'm loving Onya and kinda don't see how's there's anyway she loses this unless she clearly fucks up at this point.

 

Lexi is my front runner, if she got out of her head a little bit she’d be unstoppable. Suzie might be my least favorite queen in the history of the show, the theatre kid vibes just give me the ick.

Onya is so damn funny, just wish her runways were a bit more high fashion. To wear a turkey costume when the category is “Ugliest Dress Ever” makes no sense, it wasn’t even a dress.

 

Yeah I agree. Def want Lexi to win but onya has it in the bag unless Lexi wins one more to give her 3 wins and then kills it in a lip sync. Her lip sync against scarlet envy I’ve watched like 50 times
