They played a new RTJ3 song on the Coachella YouTube stream that was so-so, then they opened their set with another RTJ3 song that absolutely slayed. This next album is going to be nuts.

So glad my gf got me into these guys. Obsessed with Meow the Jewels.

 

Didn't know someone could be obsessed with that, fun one off listen but I have no real desire to ever hear it again.

Apparently Mike wants the album out before the end of the year. He says they should be done recording by July 7, it's going to be zanier and darker, there might be no features if they don't follow through on the one big feature, and it will probably be shorter than the other albums.

I'm thinking it'll hit streaming services and all that jazz tonight. Buy maybe they have a deal with Xbox to keep it exclusive to the trailer for awhile, so who knows.

Also gears of war sucks.

 

Gears 1 was dope as hell. Gears 3 was ok.

 

Yeah gears 1 is a classic.

RTJ knows how to capitalize on their audience. I remember the WD2 trailer having some tracks off RTJ being played prominently as well.
