I haven't been more hyped for a show in a long long time. The fact it's indoors at my favorite venue in town, sold out instantly(had to change venues) AND the show is the same day the new album is out. Can't get any better. Also have a chance to meet the guys. If so I am smoking them up asap hahah.
I just got an e-Mail from the House of Blues Cleveland that I won their contest for two free tickets, $50 karma kash (aka HOB restruant / store gift card), a signed poster and a meet & greet. I am SO excited about this it's unreal! The show has been sold out for so long and I've missed a few reasonably priced tickets. This is going to rule!
I think so too! I hope I can get my records signed. I'm not sure if it'll be a strict no autographs or what since I'm getting a poster. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Thanks!
Damn! That's unreal. I've LOVED Killer Mike since Monster was released. Wanted so bad to go to this show but my wife's work holiday party is that night :(
Pretty solid setlist. I'm really excited for the show Saturday Run the Jewels Setlist at Electric Factory, Philadelphia
I ended up not getting to attend a meet and greet. I sent the lady who contacted me that I won about what time I should be at the venue on Saturday night and she apologized that she got it mixed up with another contest. So I only got the tickets and $50 gift card. Which was fine because I got into the show. I would've liked to meet them and had my stuff ready to get signed but i guess it wasn't meant to be. I waited around after the show and I guess they left right after the show. But the show was so awesome and so much fun. There energy was through the roof the whole set and they sounded great! The setlist was one song shorter than the previous shows which was the only bummer. Overall a great show and great time.
Oh man, sorry that you didn't get to do the meet & greet. That's definitely a bummer. At least you still got the tickets though. I would've liked to go to the show, but I had a lot of other stuff going on. Were the openers any good? None of the names were familiar to me.
I only saw the end of Gaslamp Killer (I think that's his name) and he was pretty good. He's a DJ. Gangsta Boo came out with RTJ but I didn't see her set.
