Seeing them live helps

 

very good live, the new songs they played sounded pretty cool. interested to check this out.

 

I am v stoked for this

 

Yeh I wasn't sold on this band, then I saw them live and now I love them
They're so tight and also fucking hilarious to boot

 

At my show before playing the new song they had technical difficulties and they improvised a song in the mean time. It was p good

 

watching them live is a prerequisite to falling in love with them imo

 

Yeah I definitely wouldn't have gotten into them without seeing them

 

The fist time I saw them Jordan led a chant of "Little pig little pig let me in: Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!" And half the audience was dying (including Evan Weiss, had ran into him on my way to the venue lol), and half were like wtf.

 

The first time I saw them was on that TWIABP/Hotelier tour mentioned in the article and I just thought they were really solid.

But when they opened for Superheaven I cried laughing at some of the stuff they were doing. They led a chant about Nascar that was like 3 sentences long and kept trying to get the crowd to repeat it. And then they had the audience crowd surf a CD

also apparently at one show they had a backdrop that said that too lol

 

i think that was their backdrop for every show this tour lol

most tour pics i saw had the backdrop, that sucks, they did a JEFF'S UP NEXT chant at my show. i really cant wait to see these guys again

 

Yeah, their set started this tour and I was immediately dying because of that backdrop lol.

 

part of me eagerly wants more album details right this second, and another part is fine waiting because June 23rd is far away...

 

This is the first Sideonedummy release in awhile that's had this long of a wait time. They've been pretty solid about releasing album 1.5-2 months after announce

 

The Dream is Over had like a 3+ month announcement didn't it?

 

Yeah you're right haha Jeff and Smith St were both pretty short. Same with Chris Farren I think

 

pretty sure Microwave had a 2 month period of waiting, iirc.
