This album may not have had a whole lotta staying power or pushed the envelope. Though I revisited it last week, and it still has some great stuff. Love Again, and See Them Faceless are more interesting than I remember.

 

New album coming out


Awkward that Donovan is a guest considering the rumors of them turning these into RC from Sianvar demos.

 

Yeah lol interesting situation... the new single is great though. I definitely hear the Will/Sianvar influence.

 

Isn't this just Sianvar with Kurt? Hoping this packs more of a punch than their previous release. Kurt is my favorite DGD vocalist.

 

It’s actually quite literally Sianvar with Kurt lol, they basically repurposed the instrumentals for what was going to be Sianvar LP2 for this. But in any case, the first single is awesome so I’m here for it.

 

i wonder why there's only 8 songs on this album, maybe a couple of them were too heavy/different for royal coda? the first RC album was pretty simplistic with instrumentation. and the donovan feature is definitely interesting.

i like the new single, took a few listens and watching the music video for it to really click though

Love both songs but REALLY love this one

 

Honestly don't mind that it's probably under 30 minutes though I'm not thrilled at that feature prospect. HTS is really not for me
