"Eastern Leaves" isn't my favorite on that album, but "Just Like Heaven" is an all-timer

Just listened to “Eastern Leaves” for the first time a moment ago, and it’s great! I haven’t kept up with Moving Mountains in a long while, but sounds like I should revisit.

Was always gonna be Just Like Heaven though.

 

Just Like Heaven is a perfect song. Easy pick.

 

now this is just not fair lmao. even tho they arent getting my vote, i still love moving mountains (not one of my fav songs of theirs tho)

 

Moving Mountains are probably not a band I’ve thought about since 2013 list season. Good album, but I’m surprised that song made it this far. Definitely not making it past one of the great pop songs in history, though.

 

Just Like Heaven is top 10 all time for me given the day

 

Just Like Heaven would get my vote even if it was just the intro

 

I love Moving Mountains but come on, it’s The Cure

 

An absurdly difficult choice for me. Giving it to Eastern Leaves as it’s on probably my all time favorite record and does not stand a chance at winning here anyway. Assume I’ll have many opportunities to vote for Heaven, basically a perfect song

 

"Just Like Heaven" is wonderful. But I actually forgot how much I love "Eastern Leaves" until revising here so gonna show MovMou some love but still be happy when The Cure win
