My point, even removed from pat’s shenanigans, is that Sitting on the Dock of the Bay should be regarded as a legendary song in the history of pop/rock music. Heroes should too, but I think people are framing that song as untouchable. Dock of the Bay absolutely deserves a spot in that same level, especially if you have a personal history with it
